Making something from nothing
Hello friends, The last two days I have been babysitting my grandchildren. Loads of fun,in fact 3 years ago when my first grandaughter was born my "Sweetiepie Originals" childrens clothing line was also born. It is so fun creating these unique little girl styles; dresses, sweaters & jackets. I'm always refashioning from adult sweaters. They give me enough yardage to make one childs jacket or sweater and possibly something for an adult too. These two piles of sweaters are just the tip of the iceburg from my resorces for designing.

I have a FREE Day
I'm going to sew ALL day. Hello friends, I feel like I'm writing letters which I really love to do. Today I plan on finishing several of those robes. I'm getting ready for a big show up at the Island of Lake Erie, Put-In-Bay, Ohio. Marsha, my long time girlfriend from high school will be joining me up there. She lives in Florida now, I miss her. Her parents have a wonderful island retreat there for 50 years now, WOW. It's peaceful and grand. We used to sneak up there with our boyfriends back in the 60's and bumb around. We weren't too naughty, just enough!

I'm working on it
Hello there, I'm working on many things. I've cut out 4 glamour girl robes finished one but the buttons. I get many projects to the button part and finish the last touches all together. I've cut out 4 little girl quilted jackets, will start on them this week. I have a few orders to work on too. I love making the robes, I have two of them myself. A winter one, turquoise polka dot and a summer rosebud. They are so comfortable I could stay in them til noon and sometimes I do!

What I'm thinking today.
I'm doing much pondering, maybe even reinventing myself. Designing & seeing the project to the end is very fulfilling. Now selling my work, that is what is really, really hard. I need a fairy Godmother OK then an agent to sell my cloths out in the world. Well maybe not the whole world just my part of the world. It is very difficult to rep your own work. True? I've acctually been very successful selling locally, custom orders and all. I'm searching for more opportunities.
