Working on Glamour Girl Robe for Karoyl

Hi ,  I wanted you to see the chenille I used for the trim of your robe. It has a nice feel to it with a little stretch and would be very nice for your turban. As you can see the sleeves are not in yet but I will be finishing maybe today or tomorrow. I have three wonderful buttons that I think will be perfect, the color is  a very rich blue.  I love it!!

Hello Spencer & Karoyl,  my two newest special order customers for "The Chenille Glamour Girl Robe". I'm shopping today for the white chenille to start work this weekend on Spencer's robe. It will be fabulous! I will post work in progress.
Karoyl, please notice the photos here of the white chenille with soft flowers and also the pale pink with soft flowers. I intended to make these up in robes, do you like? I will post the off white when I get it so you can see that too and decide. I'm working on a few others that are still work in progress. I have many more ideas for more to come.

I have found much success making vintage inspired sundresses for customers. I'd like you to meet Cheryl, she commissioned me to make her this very wonderful crepe pink polka dot sundress and it looks fabulous on her. Her husband loves it so I've heard!! I'm very excited to dress all the women who love this look of sexy sweet. Who in the world wouldn't want that!! I know I do. I've made myself several dresses and have gotten many compliments.

This dark pink dress is the latest of my sundresses, I know that my photo looks more red but it actually is the dark pink shade. Custom made of cotton, Lycra, ponte, for this happy girl in Champagne, Illinois.  Her very sweet boyfriend contracted me to make it for her as a surprise birthday gift. WOW, what a guy!!! It fits like a glove & she looks  fabulous.

MAD MEN DRESSES, I LOVE THEM DON'T YOU???

Oh yes, I've made many dresses with inspiration from the 50's and 60's styles.  I make specialty wardrobes for individual clients.  The Mad Men dressess that you see on the AMC TV show, & love, I can make them for you. These creations take a little time, to hunt down just the right fabric and then construct. I use Mood Fabrics in New York and Virginia Marti. I will need good measurements of the client, a deposit and I'm on my way. You often can have a fabulous custom made dress for an amazing price, depending on the fabric choice of course.
If you haven't seen the show than go to your library and get the dvd of all 4 seasons. It's fabulous, & the story is pretty good too!!
